Bolted on the tires, threw on the fenders and rolled her out for her one day of the year in the sun.
The front is dropped as low as it will go with the beam adjusters. Will have to look at the cost of a set of drop spindles for drums, until I can get the disc brake kit I want. The rears will probably be re-adjusted up some, it currently sits on the bump stop, and possibly notch the spring plates.
Next were a few picks with the fam. The first is its future driver, just have to wait until 2027.
Here’s the wife steering the bug while it is pushed out. I say steering loosely because the toe is no where close to be set correct.
One new part installed today, replaced the driver side shock.
I have the other I just put the fender on before I remembered to do it, next time. Katie lucked out because as we were ready to push the bug back in the garage an ADT guy walked by and asked if I needed help, so he helped.
